Most Step 2 CK test items describe clinical situations and require that you provide one or more of the following: diagnosis, a prognosis, an indication of underlying mechanisms of disease, the next step in medical care, including preventive measures.[7]

The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a three-step examination for medical licensure in the U.S. The USMLE assesses a physician's ability to apply knowledge, concepts, and principles, and to demonstrate fundamental patient-centered skills, that are important in health and disease and that constitute the basis of safe and effective patient care.

Although the passing score is 214, your objective should not be to score only the passing marks. Instead, you should look to achieve a good score or at least an above-average score. But for that, you should know what is the average score on USMLE step 2?

The USMLE still believes independent standardized tests for medical knowledge and clinical skills are important. However, it now feels clinical reasoning and communication skills will be able to be assessed in other steps.

AMBOSS is also a well-known bank for USMLE STEP 2 CK and is ranked second (after UWorld STEP 2 CK). So, after mastering UWorld STEP 2 CK properly, solving AMBOSS questions is absolutely the best next step. AMBOSS questions are well written, cover a wide range of the exam concepts, and are somehow similar to UWorld STEP 2 CK and real exam questions. One disadvantage is that some questions are very tough and may break your confidence, but they are unlikely to show up on the real exam, so stay optimistic even if you fail to get these questions right.

PASSED CK!! Did the Step 2 CK course over 6 weeks and it was great! The tutors are doctors who have scored highly on CK and passed on their knowledge. The course is structured in a way where students are taught a specific topic and then that is applied to a specific USMLE question, which allows you to understand how to approach the question. No other course is similar to this and I would highly recommend this course for anyone preparing for step 2 CK!

You may recall back to the good old (not really) step 1 study days, where you seemed to have an endless amount of choices. You could study with UWORLD, Kaplan, Pathoma, Sketchy, and of course first aid. 2ff7e9595c
